We recommend including some instructions on how to best complete an unmoderated study. Here is an example of what we use:
For Desktop Studies
- Use the most recent Google Chrome or MS Edge (Chromium) browser. Do NOT use Internet Explorer or Firefox
- Use a recent operating system
- Do NOT use Windows Vista or XP
- We recommend using a headset (headphones with a microphone work, like those that come with smartphones)
- Make sure your microphone is turned on
- Take the test in a quiet place
- No background noise (TV, phone, music, talking, etc)
- Read each task aloud
- Speak your thoughts aloud
- Answer the follow-up questions
For Mobile Studies
- Use your mobile device, Android or iPhone or iPad
- You must be on a recent operating system, either Android 9+ or iOS 13+ (iPhone / iPad)

- Take the test in a quiet place
- No background noise (TV, phone, music, talking, etc)
- Read each task aloud
- Speak your thoughts aloud
